Zurich – March 14th, 2019 – Lenovo is pleased to announce the appointment of Arnold Marty as Managing Director PCSD (PC and Smart Devices) Switzerland with effect from 1 April 2019. Most recently Deputy CEO of the Nebikon-based Meier Tobler Group, Mr Marty brings to his new role outstanding expertise and many years of experience in the sector. He will report to Mirco Krebs, General Manager and Territory Leader of Lenovo’s PCSD Group in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
In his new position, Mr Marty (53) will seek to tailor Lenovo’s PCSD strategy in Switzerland to specific customer needs, with a view to further consolidating the company’s position and increasing its market share. “I look forward to helping our customers on their digital journey”, he says. “With one of the world’s largest device portfolios, a leading position in data centre technology, smart, vertical solutions driven by algorithms and the strong partnerships that Lenovo has established, all the building blocks we need to do this are in place. One of our main focuses will be on maximising positive customer experiences.”

Arnold Marty is a well-known figure in the Swiss information and communication technology sector. Having held various management positions at Hewlett-Packard from 1994 to 2012, he joined Ricoh as Head of Major Accounts in 2013 and then the Tobler Group (now the Meier Tobler Group) in 2014, where he served most recently as Deputy CEO.
He is married with two sons. When not working, he likes to spend as much time as he can with his family and relaxes by skiing and jogging.
